There's a Frenzy on the Farm!...

Hi everyone!

Happy Friday! Just ONE more day before the HUGE "Happy Anyaversary" Bash! Are you all excited!??? I can't wait!

I have two cards to share with you today, the first being our new Wild Sprout, Megan. Isn't she adorable? I think she's my favorite Wild Sprout from The Greeting Farm! Since she's a sprout I figured this flower pot card would work well ;) I have another card too, but first, I just have a few reminders for the hop tomorrow to help it run smoother:

1.) Please have your posts up by 9am CST when our hop begins. The official hop list will be posted on the TGF Blog and on the Club Anya blog as well. We have over 80 participants, so grab a chair, a snack, and happy hopping!

2.) It is VERY important that your post remains on the top of your blog for that day. Since no direct links will be provided, if you post over your blog hop post it is likely that people may not see it. We want everyone to see your fabulous birthday creations so this is important!

3.) Please stay tuned to the Club Anya blog, our PCP page, and the TGF blog for some surprises throughout the day! All releases will go live for sale at MIDNIGHT tomorrow and the festivities begin at 9am until 9pm, so keep checking as we will be popping in and out throughout the day!

If you miss anything, don't fret, we will post an official prize page on Monday with some highlights from the weekend!

I have a few samples for you today from the New releases. Bear with me as I am still not working with all my stuff and it's a little crammed here at Mom and Dad's but our closing is today and we move in first thing Monday! hooray! This next card was made with not one, but TWO new TGF stamp sets! We have a brand new mini Anya/Ian set for Halloween, Spooktacular, and it is creepy cute, guys! I definitely know what I'll be making my kids' favors with this year!

In addition to that, we also have a new sentiment set, "Hello Go Rounds". They fit perfectly for die-cutting with Nesties and are going to be released on Saturday during our huge release party, so you can grab these awesomely versatile lil' circles then!

See you tomorrow for the Big Blog Hop, our "Happy Anyaversary" bash! It all starts at 9AM CST!

Hugs!
Jessica :)

A Birthday Surprise...

...no, not MINE! Did you KNOW that The Greeting Farm is turning ONE soon!?!?

That being said, be sure to click on the b-day badge on my sidebar and get ALL the info on how you can party with us-the deadline for our Birthday Blog Hop is TODAY at NOON CST! There will be no more signups after that, so be sure to get your name in!

She is just ONE of the amazing and whopping SEVEN NEW RELEASES from The Greeting Farm this Saturday, AUGUST 1st! Oh wait...do you notice this ADORABLE new DP? So make that EIGHT releases! YOWZA! Mercy's Sketch Challenge #32: Life is Full...

...and I am bursting with excitement because it's my first Tuesday as one of "Mercy's Muses" for Mercy Kerin's Tuesday Sketch Challenge!

This is a very exciting day as my friend (and now practically my neighbor!) and sketch challenge artist extraordinaire Mercy is finally back to being able to do her OWN Tuesday sketches again so we are picking up right where she left off...I bring you MTSC32:Isn't this a fabulous sketch? I had a blast creating from it and knew exactly what set I wanted to use as soon as I saw it. I used one of my new EK Success border punches, the double scalloped punch to create a softer edge for this card and wanted to give it lots of texture by using two of my favorite CB embossing folders, some yummy PTI Double-Stitched ribbon and some pearl accents too.

I chose to use a sentiment from my Butterfly Wishes stamp set, a set that I designed available now at The Greeting Farm. Our lives have been full of change lately and I really thought this quote was appropriate!I hope you'll join in on playing the sketch this week! We are so excited about this and can't WAIT to see your take on the sketches that we will have to show you week after week! If you choose to play, make sure you link your creation to Mercy's blog and also use keyword MTSC32 when uploading to SCS or PCP or any other public gallery. And hey! You never know, Mercy may be asking YOU to be a Guest Designer for us so make sure you get your submissions in and have FUN!

Last but not least, check out the rest of the Tuesday Muses! Not only are they my friends, they are FABULOUS! They are:
Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful Tuesday, everyone!

LPS Monday: Thinking of You...

***Be sure to scroll down for an exciting announcement, too!***

Wow, what a crazy weekend it has been!

I got the kids all registered for school, found a pediatrician, dentist, nail salon, and mapquested two LSS's in the Nashville area :) I even found all the new radio stations (Thanks Mercy!) to preset my car radio too so I'm set there, too! LOL!

We did a lot this weekend. In addition to all the above, on Saturday I could tell Mom and Dad needed a break so I took the kiddos to the Nashville Zoo for the day. We had a blast! It's a great place to walk around so we got the annual membership. To cool off from the 95 degree heat we swam the rest of the afternoon on Saturday and then Dad grilled huge, thick steaks and salmon and I made the Lonestar Steakhouse marinade for the salmon...YUM!!!

Yesterday we chilled and I took the kids to see G-Force. It was cute...pretty funny, actually. Then, I slowly began to take out the heinous mess that is about 3 bins and 4 bags full of the stamping supplies I brought here to Mom and Dad's. We don't close on the house til Friday (and I was SUPPOSED to go to CHA but now I don't think I can :( sniff!) and can't move in til a week from today so I have stuff all over the place and it's a bit nutty.Anyway, it took me a while to get my bearings but it's LPS Monday and I didn't want to miss out on the fabulous color challenge they have going on over at the LPS blog! This week's color challenge is to use Pixie Pink, Brilliant Blue, and Real Red to create a card or layout with.
You''ll have to bear with me a bit since I didn't have the EXACT colors of CS-I used Riding Hood Red, Hibiscus Burst and a sheet from the beautiful new Junebug collection of DP by BasicGrey. I took a comparable Copic marker color to color in the chairs and coffee mugs from the "Garden Gate" set by Little Paper Shop to add a bit more blue to the card. I'm not sure if I like how it came out but I am a bit frazzled right now trying to figure out what is where... I am working out of bins, people! LOL!

Be sure to head on over to the LPS blog to see what the rest of the DT has in store for you and to find out all the details on how YOU can win a prize this week!

Til tomorrow!
Jess :)

A Prettie Get Well Wish...

...to my awesome friend and our amazing DT Coordinator for Paper Pretties, Jessie Rone!

Jess had some oral surgery a few days ago and although I am thrilled to hear she is doing very well, we thought we'd send her some Prettie love because she does SOOO much for the Prettie Girls! Here's some Prettie Get Well Wishes, Jess! We love ya!

So, if you are just coming over from Danielle's blog, thanks for coming! If you are just arriving on my blog and want to join in on all the fun to help us send Jessie some get well wishes, head on over to our Prettie Mama Christie's blog to begin the hop.

For today's Get Well Soon card, I used the Canadian Girl Sophia, and just covered up the flag on her sweater by using a coordinating button ;) This image is PERFECT for carrying the huge handfuls of balloons that she is bringing for Jess, don't you agree?
Today's Pretties Wednesday challenge was actually a sketch BY Jessie which was even MORE of a reason to turn this into a Get Well hop for her! LOVE this sketch, and I'll definitely be using it again!Be sure to head on over to JESSIE'S blog now to leave her some love and well wishes!

Here is the complete Blog Hop list, just fyi ;)

Well, by the time you all read this, I will be on the road to Tennessee! We will be staying with my parents for a little over a week before the closing on our house, but the kiddos start school on the 29th and I have a ton to do to get ready for school so we are outta here! I will be back for a VERY exciting Greeting Farm post on Friday but for now, see y'all soon!

LPS Monday: Angelic Thoughts ;)

Hey everyone!

It's time for another Little Paper Shop Monday and I really enjoyed this week's sketch!

My friend and UBER talented designer Cindy Haffner has a great sketch for everyone over on the LPS blog today, so don't miss it! There is a prize for the challenge this week, too! ONE lucky winner will be randomly chosen to win the {Beary Best Katie} stamp set!

My card for today's sketch uses {Angelic Jena}, one of the new releases at Little Paper Shop this month. I think her little face is just soooo stinkin' cute! I used a circle instead of the oval so that I could fit the image in better, and I found this cute cloud paper for a fun added touch.Do you guys want to play along? I hope you have the time! Just be sure to leave a comment over on the LPS blog to let us know you played and if you upload to SCS or PCP ,use keyword LPSC25 this week.

This set, {Angelic Jena} along with {Beary Best Katie} are also 10% off JUST through today, so if you haven't gotten yours yet, you have through the end of the day for the SALE!

Thanks for stopping by on your busy Monday...I really appreciate it! Hugs!

Plant your Garden...

Hello my friends...Happy Sunday.

I know I don't post often on Sundays but I just couldn't wait to show you this card. I hope this is ok to say, but this might just be my favorite Stampavie card I've ever made. To quote my friend Janna, sometimes the "stars just align" and well...I guess they did when I was making this because I just really love how it turned out. I hope you do too...thanks for looking!
Have you all seen the new Sarah Kay images from Stampavie? I am in LOVE with this new image called "Spring is Back". I had the BEST time coloring this image and pairing it with some of my favorite Wisteria paper from Basic Grey. I also had time to enter the Friday sketchers challenge using this sketch so I was happy to be able to play in their challenge for the first time.

I thought this quote from Paper Makeup stamps just couldn't be more perfect for this image and is a true reminder of how we are all in control of our own happiness and the way that we see the world. I know I, for one, try to see it as "floral" and colorful as possible! This card truly evoked some really good feelings in me about all I have in my little "Garden" of life... and for that I am so, so thankful.

I hope you enjoy this card and post and I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
Jess ;)

Butterfly Wishes to End Hate...WIN this set and help this cause!

Most of you know by now that I am just over the moon and thrilled to have been able to release my own stamp set, Butterfly Wishes, through The Greeting Farm.

That being said, my joy is doubled (at least!) by being able to work with Craft Critique on a cause that is very close to my heart and speaks volumes to my soul, especially when I think about the kind of values I want my children to live, believe, and pass on to all around them...
PLEASE READ: When I saw the Butterfly Project posted on Craft Critique, I couldn't wait to join the cause. Anyone who's been to my blog knows that I LOVE my butterflies, but also, as a close relative of two family members that have been the victims of hate, I knew that this was my call to action.

This all couldn't have happened at a more coincidental time...or shall I say, perhaps it's NOT coincidence, that my first stamp set that I designed, Butterfly Wishes, was released through The Greeting Farm. This stamp set means the world to me and so does this cause.

Therefore, I would love to give a little back to all of you who are so influential in helping to end hate by making such a beautiful tribute to the Holocaust Memorial.

I will be giving away THREE of my new Butterfly Wishes stamp sets throughout the duration of this project in the hopes that we can reach the goal and also because life is always more beautiful when there are butterflies fluttering around in it!

Here is how you can be entered to WIN this set:

Visit THIS post and read about how you can help The Butterfly Project. Then come back to THIS POST to leave a comment with a link to your Project.

I will give away one Butterfly Wishes stamp set on July 20th, August 15th, and September 15th (the deadline for the entries), to any participant who has created and sent in (on their honor) a butterfly to Craft Critique to help reach their goal.

You can leave a link to your project on your blog, SCS, Papercraft Planet, or any public accessible website. Just be sure to leave a comment ON THIS POST with a link to your project to be entered into the drawing.

All entries must be submitted by 11:59pm CST on the day before each drawing.

Good luck and thank you to ALL who participate in this extremely worthy cause.

Please be sure to visit the Craft Critique site for complete details and I thank the wonderful staff there for the opportunity to help!

When Pigs Fly...

...it'll be time for another Farm Fresh Friday!

Wait...it IS time for Farm Fresh Friday! And see, this little piggy is flyin' high! I ADORE this new set, Fly Away from The Greeting Farm.

This week's FFF Challenge on the TGF Blog is called "Supplies, Supplies..."

Here are the requirements:

*Use at least TWO TGF Stamps
*Use Punches (at least one)
*Use Bling of some sort :)

Easy peasy, especially if you like punches and bling like me! In addition to the adorable Fly Away set, I used the "my friend" sentiment from my Butterfly Wishes set and used my Martha Stewart Zig Zag punch. The balloons just HAD to have Stardust Stickles all over them and I finished off the bling part of my card with some really fun glitter brads from Creative Options.

Be sure to head over to the TGF blog to see all the rules/challenge deets and also some more fun examples from our TGF DT :)

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! ~Jess ;)

Twilight Thursday?

...so it seems ;)

I don't talk about it TOO much, but I, too, am a raving, card-carrying fan of the Twilight series.

I think it may have been accidental, but this new Edward stamp, part of The Greeting Farm's "Wild Sprouts" stamp series bears a strong resemblance to our fanged friend ;)

I used the BRAND NEW "Dirty Rodeo" paper (not sure if I love the paper OR the name better, lol!) to create this card and I really love this DP! I have to say, it's some of the best boy paper out there and you'll def. be seeing more of it here as well as my mystery man, Edward :) I also used the "Thinking of you" sentiment from my new Butterfly Wishes stamp set, also available at The Greeting Farm!

Be sure to head on over to Marie's blog today too for more previews of the new Dirty Rodeo paper as well as some more amazing cards from The Greeting Farm DT!

Have a "Twilight" inspired Thursday, everyone! It sure feels like I'm in Forks! Rain, rain, and MORE rain! Today was only 61 degrees in JULY! Hope it warms up! Edward might be cold-blooded but I am not! hee hee....

Pretties Wednesday...MOVING right along...

This post and it's title make me giggle...because two weeks ago, Jana from our Prettie Girls DT challenged us to create a "Moving Card". Now, I know that Jana is moving soon into a new home, but I assumed she meant "moving" as in make it move-i.e. a Spinner card or some other type of interactive card.

However, my uber FAB friend and our AMAZING DT Coordinator Jessie soon clarified this...well, sorta. When asked, Jana said we could "take that to mean whatever we wanted it to"....hee hee...that is where the giggle comes in.

Now that I have full clearance to interpret my "Moving Card" the way that I wanted to, I am going to take this opportunity to let y'all know that we are FINALLY moving South and I couldn't be happier! Yippee! In a few short weeks, my family and I will be Tennesseans and I am BEYOND thrilled.
To celebrate my little announcement, this Pretties Wednesday Challenge fit right into my plans ;) I used the Home Sweet Home set from our fantastic Danielle Lounds...she designed this set for Paper Pretties and its one of my favorites!

I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch which was fun because I haven't gotten to play in a while. The SUPER cute DP is from The Greeting Farm's Sunny Glen Collection. Warm and fuzzy, just like I feel!

Be sure to check out what the other Pretties decided to create for their moving cards...and how they decided to interpret that, too LOL! Links on my sidebar :)

See you tomorrow everyone...for now, I have to PACK!

Introducing...a Twinkling Tina Wenke card...

...can you STAND how cute this image is???

Are you sitting down? Well, good because it's just one of TEN new stamps designed by Tina Wenke for Stampavie!

When I first saw these stamps all I could think about was how they remind me of my childhood and some books my Mom used to read to me. When I got older, I used to sit at the foot of my bed near my bookshelves and read these books all night long. I remember because they were on the bottome shelf so it was easy to sit and grab them from there.

Holy moly are they CUTE?!?! What better way to break them in than with a (doozy of a) sketch by my very sweet boy Jack. Madelynn was nice enough to turn over the sketch pad to him yet again so he could have another turn :) He is really coming into his own, my boy!

Don't these flowers on this sheet of DP (from the Sweet Stack by DCWV ) go perfectly w/ the way he drew the bottom of the sketch? I was flipping through tons and tons of paper trying to decide what to use to make my card when I saw this and it screamed "pick me, pick me!"

I hope you'll head over to the Twinkling Tuesday blog today, because my awesome friend Kim Ross who just happens to be my cousin is today's featured stamper, and she has QUITE the cutie patootie card using my Butterfly Wishes stamp set available now through The Greeting Farm!

We hope you'll play along this week, so visit the TT blog for all the deets :)

Have a wonderful Tuesday, everyone! You all twinkle, sparkle, and shine!

xoxo

LPS Monday: Another Super Sketch!

Hey everyone!

Hope you all had wonderful holiday weekends! I am sorry to report that I am still feeling horribly dizzy, but was "Miss Daisy" for the weekend as I was carted all over, LOL and got to go enjoy my Dad's family reunion on the 4th. We stayed for the fireworks on the beach but were all chewed alive, I think by mosquitos.

Then yesterday was my parents' 40th anniversary so we had a nice steak dinner with them and grilled on the beach as well. We had some pretty good times last night-let's see...DH was throwing a foam football with my son and they got pretty good at it and as I was looking down at my Blackberry and messing around on Facebook (tisk tisk), BAM! DH threw a pretty straight "line drive" as my Mom called it and the ball hit me smack in the chest. Of course, I couldn't be mad b/c we were all laughing too hard but man, did it smart! Thankfully it was foam, though!

Then, I was talking to my Dad and all the sudden I feel someone smack me (HARD!) on the neck/back of my head and there was my mom, beating me, claiming it was a mosquito! I told her I think she was trying to get back at me for something I must have done as a kid, LOL!!!! Add to all this the fact that my Dad can't take a picture with a cell phone camera, and we were basically laughing ALL NIGHT. It was so much fun, though.

Alright, onto my card. Allison whipped up another great sketch for us at the Little Paper Shop and we'd love for you to play along! Before I get into my card though, I want to send a quick shout out to Allison because it's her birthday tomorrow! How fitting that we are using her sketch today!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ALLISON!!!!

I chose to use Katie Cupcake again and "flipped" the sketch and this is what I came up with.

If you would like to join us this week we would love for you play along! Just check out the LPS BLog for all the details and be sure to use keyword LPSC23 if you upload to SCS or PCP. Be sure to leave acomment either way though, to let us know you played! The winner will receive TWO FREE DIGISTAMPS from The Little Paper Shop!

Have a wonderful Monday and see you back tomorrow!

Jess :)

A Prettie Pink Inspirational Piece...

...well, I hope everyone had a good Fourth!

Today is the 5th and you know what that means? It's time for the Prettie Girls to have a hoppin' good time! That's right, it's our fellow Prettie Charmaine's birthday today and so we are HOPPIN' around to wish her a FABULOUS DAY!

If you are just starting out on my blog, check out Jodi's blog as she officially kickstarts this par-tay! If you just came from Danielle's blog, I hope you're having a great time so far! I decided to bring Charmaine a pretty birthday flower that just happens to be inspired by THIS CAKE:
Isn't it super fantabulous? I thought so. Now, I have to admit, I made this card a while ago, using the super cute Giving Thanks Sophia who was our June Stamp of the Month, but I never got around to showing it off on my blog and since i haven't been feeling so hot the last few days, it was time to make her appearance, and just so happened to be really similar to the cake I found!

I used it as an inspiration piece and since I had a hunch that another one of our Prettie Girls would be bringing the cake, I opted to use this photo to bring our girl some bday blooms! Hope she likes it!
Be sure to hop on over to Christi's blog next to see what she brought to our little suaree!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARMAINE! Hope all your wishes come true!

Jessica :)

I Do...

...want to send the biggest shout out to my boss and more importantly my friend, Marie, of The Greeting Farm!

She will walk down the aisle as a beautiful bride on Sunday and marry her man :) Yay!

Be sure to stop by the Club Anya Blog today to view a very special post from myself and the TGF DT. We are all so excited for her!

What's more? Well, in my humble opinion, Marie is lucky in love! July 5th is definitely a charmed day, as it will mark the 40th wedding anniversary of my Mom and Dad. If there was ever a model marriage to aspire to, it is that of my wonderful parents. I love you, Mom and Dad! Can't wait to see you tomorrow!

I used the VERY fitting Cake Topper Anya/Ian for this card and also used my new set, Butterfly Wishes, available now at The Greeting Farm! When I wrote the sentiments for this set, I wasn't even thinking that this one could be used to describe a feeling/emotion for a wedding card but of COURSE it could. I hope that Marie remembers these moments for the rest of her life and I wish her all the happiness in the world!

CONGRATS my friend!

Be sure to head over the The Greeting Farm's Blog today, too! I crashed it (hee hee) and am excited to be debuting a little sketcheroo, so have fun this weekend creating, everyone!

Hugs!
Jess ;)

Still Flyin' High...

...WHEW! WHAT...a day!

I can't thank you all enough for your beautifully kind words, thoughtful comments, and sharing in my excitement as Butterfly Wishes was released yesterday at The Greeting Farm!

This has been a crazy week of ups and downs, I gotta tell ya...so to have my set be so well received by all of you is just the highlight of my week! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! I am still feeling pretty icky w/ this vertigo, etc., and going back to the dr. today so hopefully help is on the way! I will keep you posted...thanks for caring so much!

Anyway, one of my favorite things about releasing this set was the feeling that I got (talk about dizzy! LOL!) which I still don't think I can describe, when seeing the set used on other people's cards/blogs. It's really indescribable! It's one thing to see my own finished product, but to see it being used out there really hit me, like, WOW....those are my stamps being used by someone to make something beautiful.... I really was just amazed and so touched.

That being said, I would like to share with you what a few of my bloggin' buddies have been showing on their blogs this week, and a HUGE thank you to my friends:

These ladies have top billing not only on my blog but in my heart! Please stop by and visit their blogs and see all their beautiful creations-I'm blessed to know some great talent and even greater friends!

On that note, I would also like to send a shout out to my friends Danni and Jacquie for their wonderfully enthusiastic posts to announce this set as well as well as Marie and the entire TGF DT, and all of YOU guys for your "whimsical wishes" hee hee :) You guys ROCK!

A Prettie Awesome New Sophia...

Hey there...

You know what? I can't BELIEVE it's July 1st!

You know what that means? Yep! It's release day at Paper Pretties!

Now, you might have heard that Paper Pretties is moving, so amidst all the chaos there isn't going to be a release party this evening, HOWEVER, will ya just look at this ADORABLE new Story Time Sophia? I LOVE HER!

You probably know that my 9 year old is quite the bookworm, as I've talked about her before, so when this Sophia was shown to the DT I immediately thought of my sweet girl and how much she is going to LOOOOOVE this stamp too!

I'm totally psyched that she's here and couldn't WAIT to show her off!

Now, in addition, today was our Prettie Girls challenge. Two weeks ago, the super talented and SOOOO sweet Charmaine issued a challenge to us Pretties to use MASKING on our cards. I used a nestie to create a background for Sophia, and it actually reminded me of something you'd see illustrated in a book...Sophia is literally in her own little world, once upon a time.... Love it! Thanks for an awesome challenge, Charmaine!

Be sure to stop by the rest of the Prettie Girls blogs today and see what marvelous masked creations they have for you....they are all listed on my sidebar! In addition, be sure to check out the Paper Pretties site to see the cute new release and Happy Shopping, y'all!
