Running in Circles...and LOVING every minute...

Ok, I swear you did NOT land on the wrong blog this morning!

I did it....I DARED....I made a layout! I know, crazy right? Let me just tell you that as with everything else, my children are the inspiration in EVERYTHING I do!!!

So let's take a look at the sketch that Madelynn drew for this week's DIEDRICH DARE:

Have you guys had a chance to check out the DIEDRICH DARE??? You may remember Twinkling Tuesday, Madelynn's very first challenge blog. Well, after a little summer hiatus, a cross-country move, and some serious creativity, all THREE of my older kiddos decided to collaborate and now bring you Whimsical Wednesdays: THE DIEDRICH DARE!

I couldn't WAIT to bust out my Unity stamps again and knew that this quote was perfect not only for me, but for Madelynn, too! Isn't it fantastic? I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE quotes and the ones from Unity are awesome because they are the perfect size for either scrapbooks or cards, and better yet, they can be the focal point of the card which I also ADORE!I took this photo of her last year my cousin Kim (who has her OWN BLOG NOW!!!! YAY!!!!!) and I took our kids out to lunch and shopping. Kim and I spent WAY too much time talking and before I knew it, I turned around, and saw this pretty face in the back of my van just staring at us like 'are you EVER going to stop talking?!?" LOL! I quick snapped a picture of her since I had still had my camera around my neck and well....this little face says SO many things! LOVE my girl!

So other than the fact that I had to move over the center scalloped circle to accomodate this sweet little face, I followed the sketch and LOVE the fact that this circular piece of paper that I've had sitting around FOREVER became this page layout. I really love this week's challenge!

Speaking of this week's challenge, we HOPE you'll play along! Be sure to head on over to the DARE blog to see Sandra's creation as she is our featured stamper this week and to leave a comment on the Dare blog when you link your creation! If you are uploading to a public gallery such as SCS, please use keyword DDSC2. Thanks! And please don't forget to show some LOVE (Since it's ALL about the LOVE!) to the rest of my fellow DAREDEVILS...they rock the house, and they are:
Have a WHIMSICAL WEDNESDAY everyone! Thanks so much for stopping by!

I love your idea of doing a little scrappin page instead of a card. Madelynn is such a cute gal - and this facial expression is the best! I love the sparkly swirls and that quote is fabulous! Great job on the challenge this week Jess!

I am the #1 fan of hot pink and black together (note my scraobooking room!!! HAHA). The rhinestones are FAB, as are the Unity stamps. Great sketch, layout, picture, embellishments. In other words great EVERYTHING! I really, really love this!!!

I don't think I've ever done a round card, so this should be fun!

Adorable card/scrapbook page... I say that because this could easily be put in a scrapbook. So cute!

Hugs,
Lisa

Okay, wait a second... it IS a scrapbook page. I had my brain set to "cards," so thought you were making a special card for a family member. See what happens when you get preconceived notions in your head... they start becoming real!!!

By the way, your daughter is adorable.
