Here Comes the Sun...what a wonderful attitude after seeing THIS...

Please watch...and if you can...please help.

This is 9 miles away from where I live, some footage of towns even closer than that.

You can still donate $10 to help the Nashville Flood Relief Fund by texting REDCROSS to 90999.

I was emailed/texted/tweeted this video several times by several people this morning and it's definitely a must-watch. Even those of us who live minutes away didn't really 'know'...'til we KNEW.

GOD BLESS the people of Middle TN, Nashville and our surrounding towns, and all those who care and have offered help...and all those who are praying, too! WE LOVE THIS CITY!!!

Wow. I had not seen this. I live in the same area and seeing it on TV was one thing, but going out and seeing men in boats in what used to be parking lots, and seeing cars and houses almost completely covered by water really hit me in a way I can't describe. Thanks for posting this :)

I feel awful that I'm so cluless as to what has been happening there. I had NO IDEA! Seems like I need to open the lid to my nice cozy little box and take a peek outside. Prayers to all of the families affected by this.

Wow. That was powerful. Thank you for sharing.

I remember driving through Iowa City, IA after the flooding there two years ago. The waters had receded, but the damage was still seen. I was just back in Iowa City a couple weeks ago and it is absolutely amazing how the community came together and rebuilt.

God Bless all those affected by this disaster.

I live in Hendersonville and was surrounded by water for a few days, but luckily had little to no damage. So many people lost everything. In the video, the baseball park is here in Hendersonville. Drakes Creek Park - the high school baseball and softball teams play their games there and the soccer fields were damaged as well. I'm not sure what they will do with the rest of their season. Glad you are safe.
