The Key Ingredients can RESTORE just about anything!...

Hey, Everyone!

Thank you so, so much for coming by again today to see the SEPTEMBER Key Ingredients Challenge from Taylored Expressions!

I can't thank you enough, too, for your sweet comments yesterday.  This is really a dream deal for me and I'm SO honored to be a part of it!

So, each month on the 15th at Taylored Expressions is the Key Ingredients challenge.  This month's Key Ingredients kit features the GORGEOUS "Restoration" paper from Crate Paper,   (20 6x6 sheets!) so our challenge is:

RESTORATION:  Making the Old NEW again!
It's time to recycle, re-use, or re-purpose some old items and turn "trash into treasure" with our Key Ingredients!

Today I have a few items actually that were basic 'junk'-an old herb tin that I used last year to grow some mint and basil (major fail on the mint, btw), an old box of peppermint tea from Trader Joe's, and a used Starbucks travel cup.   Here are the items:

And HERE is the finished product of what a little RESTORATION can do!

Now, I took some step-by-step shots just so you can see more of the transformation:

I covered individual tea bags with this cute little label stamp from the "CreativiTEA" stamp set, available at Taylored Expressions.  The cardstock is Choice Buttercream and is part of the Key Ingredients Kit :)

I love the double-sided Crate Paper and how this particular paper looks like wood.  This is how I covered the old Tea Box:
One of my favorite parts of the project was using the Restoration paper to create the new "sleeve" for the Starbucks cup.  Perfect for my tea!
Here's a close-up of the outside decoration of the tin, again using the CreativiTEA stamp set:
Last but not least, here's a super quick card I made using the Key Ingredients set that I am including in this little gift set:

And again, the finished project:

Are YOU a Key Ingredients subscriber?  I would SO LOVE for you guys to play along in the challenge!   Just visit Taylor's Blog to add/link your creation!  Just as an FYI, your project does not have to be 3D-you can totally repurpose items to be used on a card as well, using your kit!

Need to sign up?   There are 1, 3, and 6 months subscriptions available RIGHT HERE :)  If you are just now signing up, please leave me a comment and let me know you did because I would LOVE to hear what you think about these kits.   I LOVE them.  You will always have enough supply to create TONS of cute projects and cards and I really would love to see what you make so be sure to let me know when you get yours!

For now, be sure to visit the rest of my DT mates and see what THEY'VE restored today:

Jessica Diedrich <--you are here!
