SO much to share today...can I get a HIP HOP?!...

HIP HOP!   Whew-ok, I can start now.  I'm going to get right down to it because I have TONS to share.  Today we are HIP HOPPING with UNITY STAMP CO. into another holiday THEME-which is "JOURNAL YOUR CHRISTMAS".

These ideas were inspired by Ali Edward's "December Daily" and also by Shimelle's "Journal your Christmas."   It took me a while to get used to the idea, and I modified mine a little bit to fit my family's lifestyle.   I bought a Prima mini-album for this project.  Lots of fun mediums here-the pages are canvas and the back is acrylic.  I love this book already :)

Here's the front cover, using 25 Days, Bright and Merry Winter Wishes, and some Echo Park goodness :)

I decided to leave the 1st page blank-and on December 1st, I will journal what we were doing that day-what we're up to, etc.  I used some stamps from the NOVEMBER Kit of the Month for this one-I love the holiday sentiments in this month's kit!  It's NOT too late to sign up for this one if you still need to :)

I had an idea that the kids could be a part of my little December Daily book here-after all, lots of my errands will be based around them, right?  They really enjoyed compiling their "wish lists" for this part of the book:

Hmmmm...can you guess what he might NOT be getting?  LOL...ANYWAYS....

The back cover, appropriately titled, "STUFF", is a pocket page for receipts, RECIPES, whatever I want to put in it ;)  Kinda fun :)

There are two pages yet to be completed in the book-and it's the MIDDLE page.  I know that sounds a bit silly, but my family is the HEART of my Christmas, so the finished/final page goes in the MIDDLE of this album.   Here's the page I created for the picture of this year's tree trimming:

And, finally, this is where our 2010 Family Christmas photo will go to complete my mini album and my "December Daily" project:

Well, what do you think?  This album only took me a few hours and I really think we are going to cherish it!  Thanks for coming by and make sure to check out the rest of the DT, starting on the UNITY BLOG today-I can only imagine the projects will be STUNNING!

Last but not least...y'all heard that little rumor on Facebook yesterday about ANOTHER co-branding endeavor, right?  Ok-wait-back up.  Can I just say WOW to UNITY???   Melody Ross, Samantha Walker, Jillbean Soup, Cosmo Cricket?  And NOW...ECHO PARK?!?!?!?   Yep, it's true!   I have one more card for you using this week's Hip Hop Sketch Challenge:

I couldn't believe my EYES when I saw the new Echo Park paper line "Little Boy" and guess what-now we have STAMPS to go with it!  Sadly, I do not own this paper yet, but here's the adorable stamp "Boys will be Boys"  (I should know-I have twin 8 yr olds, LOL!) w/ some basic grey paper:

Well, that's a LOT of pics, huh?  EXCITING!  Make sure you stop by the Unity site to see what's new and on sale!  Hope you guys liked it!  It's time to head over to Jimmi now and see what she has for ya!

Other than that, please join us at 10am CST on our SCS page for Hip Hop chatting, prizes, and more!
