What's Cookin' for NOVEMBER's Key Ingredients?...

Hey everyone!

I am SOOOOO excited that it's the 15th of the month and time again for the BIG REVEAL of the November KEY INGREDIENTS kit from Taylored Expressions!

This month, I have to say, has got to be one of my faves.  This month's kit features the "Modern Homemaker" paper from October Afternoon, gorgeous coordinating cardstock, adorable kitchen-themed chipboard accents, and yards and yards of coordinating ribbon.  I LOVE this kit!

Plus, every month, did you know that you can check out the KEY INGREDIENTS BLOG to see the entire kit, coordinating Copics, and other add-ons you can purchase right at the Taylored Expressions store?  You can take it as far as your want to while pretty much having everything you need right in the kit.  I am so excited to be a part of showcasing these amazing kits, I can't even tell you!

So let's get to this month's challenge!  This month, our challenge is to "Spice up your Kitchen"-basically, there's a modern homemaker in all of us, right?  Create something to "spice up your kitchen"-or anything featuring food/food icons, etc.

Sound like fun?  Well, I for one, had a BLAST.  I decided to spice up my fridge, by altering a fun dry-erase board for recipes, notes, and a 'what's for dinner' kind of thing:

I LOVE the little magnets I created for this project-I think they're my favorite part of the board!  I took two little chipboard accents included in the kit, glued some patterened paper from the kit to them and used my craft knife to cut around the edges.  I glued them onto the two magnets (they came with the board, that's the best part!) and I really think they're fun :)

The stamps I used were from the newly released "What's cookin'" set and also "From the Heart".  I also got to use my new "From the Heart" frame die and it was my first experience with TE Dies-I will definitely be back for more!  They work perfectly w/ my Big Shot and I love that they coordinate w/ the stamps, too!

I can't wait for you to see what the rest of the KI Team created for their projects:

Thanks again to Taylor for putting together a wonderful kit-if you're not subscribed yet, you can view the options right HERE.
