What's Cookin' on Mystery Monday?

Hey guys!

Well, I'd say it's been a while but with ALL those blog posts over this past weekend, you're probably sick of me, LOL!!  It was DEFINITELY a busy weekend-whew!

Well, today we are having a SNOW DAY.   Here was my backyard when they called this snow day:

HA!  As you may be chuckling, yes, there's still PLENTY of grass you can see :)  I am soooo not used to living in Middle Tennessee yet-as you've probably heard me say, back in Chi-town, you'd have 18+ inches on the ground and STILL went to school!  Gahhhh!  Well, there will most likely be more baking in our future today as we have exhausted every board game, stamping activities, coloring books, and more, haha.  I might take the kiddos to a movie later-we shall see :)

Anyway, today over at Club Anya & Friends it's Mystery Monday and today we are casing a beautiful card by ZARAH!  You can view her card on the Club Anya blog.    Here is my card, using the adorable "Cheeky Cherry Pie" from The Greeting Farm:

Isn't she sweetness?  I think so :)  I used the November Key Ingredients Kit by Taylored Expressions for this card and the "From the Heart Funnies" sentiments for the little "What's Cookin" stamp which is PERFECT for her, don'tcha think?  Cheeky Cherry Pie is stamped on the Choice Buttercream cardstock that comes with this kit and it is FABULOUS for coloring with Copics-I LOVE it!  You should definitely give it a try-awesome results every time!

Well, thanks for hanging w/ me today!  I'll be back tomorrow with the MTSC this week and whew...breathing a BIT easier this week, LOL!  Be sure to stop by the rest of the Team Anya blogs to see what they have "Cookin' Today for MYSTERY MONDAY:

Just beautiful, Jess! I like how you colored her in pastels, she really is GORGEOUS!
I have to LOL at your story of Nashville going NUTSO over an inch of snow, lol! When I lived in Montana we hardly EVER got out of school no matter how much snow we got. We could have 10 feet and a blizzard with zero visibility and we were STILL in school! Gotta love the south;)

very cute card! I know what you mean about the weather, we have less than you & they were canceling schools. Luckily ours was NOT one of them.

Ooooh, beautiful work girl. I love the colors of this.

I'm sorry did you say they called off school??? We have that same amount of snow and I'm freezing my arse off in my classroom. Crazytown it RIGHT. (you know... the song... stay with me ;) ) We almost were able to stay home but it would have been for sub zero temperatures but it warmed up a bit. I love a good snowday. ;)

Gotta love living in a "rural" community. If even ONE bus has to go out of city limits, it's a SNOW DAY! LOL!! Your card is so cute, good luck keeping the kiddos entertained!!

LOL at your snow story and LOL at exhausting every board game, etc., with the kiddos. Cute card. I love all the fun papers, especially that pink checker pattern. :)
