Well, I've come to the right place, because today is the Taylored Expressions "BLAST from the PAST" Blog Hop and I'm using CreativiTEA for my card today.
Now, I must warn you, I am NOT a "CAS" (Clean and simple) kind of stamper. This was a very difficult concept to me and if it hadn't been for Sankari's AWESOME sketch I don't know WHAT I would have come up with, LOL! I swear, the word "simple" when it comes to a "Clean and Simple" card only makes it more difficult for this girl....I had to hide my sewing machine and put off those extra layers of paper and MAN, it was hard! Here's the sketch which was optional to use for today's event but BOY am I glad it was there:
My card today uses the APRIL Key Ingredients kit, featuring the super cute "Kitch" line of papers by The Girls Paperie. I did a little bit of paper-piecing (shhh!) here-for as SIMPLE as this card is, it needed a little 'somethin'. :) I am sure that I am not alone in the fact that "CAS" just isn't really "simple" for some of us :) But hey, it's ALWAYS good to challenge ourselves, right?
