A Cheeky 'n Colorful MTSC...

Hello, hello!

Everyone on TGF Release Party Hangover like me?  WHAT a fun party! We had such a fun night of chatting, prizes, talking about some VAMPIRES (lol) and had a TON of laughs!  One of the reasons we laughed so hard is because of the good company we had, of course...and because of a CERTAIN DT member ;)   Let me tell you something about Mercy.   Pam brought this up last night, but when I come home from a weekend with Mercy and Pam, my sides are literally SORE.  I am not kidding when I say this.

In fact, last time we got together, it was a few DAYS later and hubby said something to make me laugh, and I was STILL sore.  We have the BEST time.  Laughter is truly the best medicine, whether you're ailin or not!

Anyway, today it's time for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC76:

It's also RELEASE DAY at The Greeting Farm!  My card today uses the brand new CHEEKY MATE, and you can grab her today on the TGF website :)   This is the second installment of the SUPER popular Cheeky Cherry line, so hurry and get yours....like, now!

Well ,before you go, lots of fun stuff going on with this week's MTSC.  We are being featured at ColorQ color Challenge blog and a few of us have played along w/ this week's combo:

Be sure to check out what the Muses have in store for you today:

Last but not least, a BIG welcome to Jessica Knutsen, our JUNE Guest Muse and the owner of the AMAZING There She Goes Stamp company!  I LOVE her stamps-just wish I had more time to play w/ them.   Be sure to stop by and say hi to Jess and we'll see you next week for another MTSC!

Be back tomorrow with a VERY special Diedrich Dare-there is a GIGANTIC PRIZE...you do NOT want to miss it!

{{{ETA, on a personal note:  I discovered something very sad today :(   Many of you know that I love to write-maybe you don't know, but I've gotten a lot of comments regarding even my blog posts that make me know you "get" my love of writing.  I'd say I have three basic purposes in this life...#1 being Mommy.  My greatest accomplishment/gift.  #2 papercrafting...and #3 writing.

WHERE am I going with all of this?   A few months ago, my computer crashed.  We got an external hard drive and I had to transfer all my data over before they performed a total hard drive wipe/reconstruction.  Well, I had only told maybe 2 or 3 people this....BUT...I was working on my first book.  I started it in the summer of 2008 and was up to 247 pages.  Turns out, it was the FIRST thing I put on my EHD and well, I did it...WRONG.   I am very sad :(   I can remember and re-create some of it, but...it's a little bit of a blow.  Oh well, there are much worse things, right? Thanks for reading....here's to new beginnings and fresh, blank pages, I guess, LOL!}}}

Oh man, I am so sorry to hear about your lost book Jess, what a heartbreak that must be. :(
You seem to have a better outlook on it than I would and though it may take some time I'm sure you will be able to re-create it even better than it was before!
And your Cheeky card today is super cute, I'm really diggin' that fresh color combo you used!

Oh Jessica, I am SO SORRY about the loss of your book file. I too love to write, although I have never attempted fiction! The loss of any creation is painful, but there is so much of yourself that you pour into a book and it is a slow process - not only the loss of a little piece of your soul but also the investment of all that time! I'm really hurting for you girl!

On the other hand, the card is darling!
