My DIRTY. little. secret....

REVEALED!!!!

ACKK!!!!!!

For those of you that know me well, it is VERY hard for me to keep a secret.  Now I'm not talking about confidences, my friends know they can trust me.  I mean when ***I*** have a secret- especially a happy one.  Kind of like when I find a really great gift for someone and want to tell them what it is...or when I get some really great news that would just be sooooo much more fun if I got to share it..to SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS maybe???

Well..... WOWZA.
Today is THAT day!

I wish I had more words right now, but I am so, so, so excited that it's been hard to type even this short blog post.  I am HONORED, humbled, HAPPY, still in shock, and well, you could say this gives a whole new meaning to the "Whimsical Butterflies" that have been residing in my STOMACH for the past, oh... LONG time, lol!

Thank you so much for letting me share my DIRTY little secret with you today...and WELCOME also to Charlene Merrick, my Dirty sista!

Well, it's been a weekend that I can hardly comprehend.  SO much happiness.  My boys won their basketball game w/ a record score, and the best part?  When my son Jack scored his first basket of the game (it was a pretty cool shot, I must say ;), and the boys were running back to the other side of the court, Nick jumped around his back and put his arms around him and hugged him.  I wish I had that on film...my heart about burst and of course I burst into happy tears along with my mom ;)  Then, last night,  my daughter's first competitive dance "Showcase" was amazing and brought me to tears again watching her dance...now this.

Life is good...even better being able to share it with YOU!

Bella-riffic Friday with the "Pinkgirl"...

HELLO, everyone-TGIF!!!

Just a quick note, I want to THANK YOU for all your support yesterday-and don't forget you have until Sunday night to enter for the BLOG CANDY :)

TODAY, however, is BELLA-rific day in BELLA land...and we have a MONOCHROMATIC challenge that was due today!

Most of you know me as yeahshestamps everywhere-Facebook, Twitter, galleries....BUT, back in the day when I signed up for SplitcoastStampers, I signed on as PINKGIRL76.
I LOVE pink-I loved pink BEFORE it was cool to love pink, haha!  Anyway, I decided to go with PINK
for today's challenge:

My card uses the a-dorable ANNIE stamp designed by Christy Croll and I used some Crate Paper Neighborhood DP for today's creation.  The sentiment is also Stamping Bella and the little doily accents are Cosmo Cricket from the "Butterflies and Doilies" embellishments. They are popped up with Liquid SCRAPDOTS by Helmar!  I used this week's SCS347 Sketch to create this card :)

Our NEXT challenge, due by next Thursday night to Emily is this sketch by Linda:

Be sure to play along for a chance to win $20 in Bella Buckaroonis and also just stop by the BELLA blog today-there is always a $10 Bella Bucks up for grabs JUST for commeting...or that's comment-taytin' if you're EM ;)  You'll also want to stop over in Bellaland checking out what the rest of the team created:

Have a SUPER weekend, everyone!

Tea-riffic Tuesday...

Hey, everyone!

Thanks again for stopping by today-I had a nice relaxing day yesterday, crafting with my little one in the morning and then catching up on housework down to the last load of laundry for the moment which feels good to at least be on top of things-you're never really "done" with laundry..ever, right?   LOL

During my fun crafty time yesterday I pulled out one of my FAVORITE stamps from Stamping Bella, "Scarlett the Teacup Girl".  When these teacup girls came out a few years ago I swear I had stamp envy FOREVER before I finally bought them, and then of course had no time to use them!   Now that things are a bit calmer I couldn't wait to color her up :)  Isn't she adorable?

I used this week's SCS320 Sketch for my card.  I grabbed some scraps of October Afternoon Thrift Shop DP and also Papertrey Ink's Distressed Dots along with my two fave PTI cardstock colors- Hawaiian Shores and Harvest Gold :)  Beautiful colors!  Sentiment is also from PTI and the adorable felt flower is from Maya Road!

Thanks so much for stopping by for a spot of tea with me on this Tea-riffic Tuesday!

I hope you guys are having a SUPER start to your week!

SEW Grateful for HOPE you can CLING TO...

Hey everyone!  Today is a very special post for me as it's my turn to host today's "Hope You Can Cling To" challenge on SplitCoast Stampers!

{{{Please scroll down to view my "Oh, ALICE! & Club Anya Challenge today as well-thank you so much!}}}

I was thrilled to be asked to host a challenge for such a wonderful cause-and since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we have been rockin' these challenges ALL MONTH long!

Before I get to my card, here's a little photo of me with a pink streak I've had in my hair since 10/1 as well:

Most of you know that I LOVE stitching on my cards, so today's challenge is "SEW Thankful for Friendship"...and boy am I EVER!  ;)  'nuf said ;)

For today's sample in the Hope you can Cling To Gallery, I made a fun card using the new October Key Ingredients kit from Taylored Expressions, and also her ADORABLE new stamp set featuring Cuppie, "Gobble Gobble".  I think this little image of Cuppie writing his name and drawing a turkey out of a 'hand' (do you remember doing that as a kid?  So fun!) is the sweetest thing!

I stitched around the border of my card and also around the main image panel using my Janome Sew-Mini and dark brown thread on the "F" setting.

You can find my challenge on SCS HERE and also in the gallery over at SCS HERE.

Hope you have time to play along today for this wonderful and WORTHY cause to save the ta-tas!!!  BE sure to hit me up and let me know if you played so I can leave you some much-deserved LOVE :)
