HELLO! :)

Hey, everyone!

{{{PLEASE SCROLL DOWN for my DECONSTRUCTED Sketch post- it's a "SPARKLE-y one ;)}}}

HIP to the HOP and HELLO, Unity peeps!
I'm here today with a fun card I can't wait to show you.
It has nothing to do with the holidays.
Nothing to do with new releases.
It's just a HAPPY little HELLO that I want to share with you :)

This time of year can get so crazy and with all of our obligations, it's nice to just sit and say HI to someone who makes ya smile ;)

I think that sometimes it's a welcome break in all the hustle and bustle of this time of year and also it's nice to not make EVERYTHING red and green if ya know what I mean!  :)

So here is my creation, using the MY Little Shoebox Co-branded set "Pretty Little Things":

...and again, HELLO friends- I can't tell you how much I appreciate you still coming by after all this time!

So now...let's get to the FUN stuff- the NEW stuff...and let's talk a little SMAK:

LOVE these new "SMAK" kits- oh do I ever! Check out the new December Kit:

For those of you NEW to SMAK, it's a new Scrapbooking/Mixed Media Kit of the Month club working very similar to the Unity KOM club.  and speaking of which....
It's DECEMBER 1st- so stay tuned for pics of the NEW KOM!

Last but not least?
GIFT CERTIFICATES.
I hate to tell you this, but you have like, maybe 23 shopping days left!  ;)

They are available in several denominations- so get your friends and fam and fellow stampers together on a list- check it twice- and you're golden :)

Well, I think that's it for me, but make sure you stop by the UNITY BLOG because I'm sure Ang has a few announcements as well!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

xoxo,
Jess

Getting Cozy w/ Brandy and Emma...

Hey, everyone!

{{{If you're here for the Deconstructed Sketch, please scroll down.  If you're not, please scroll down anyway because it rocks ;) }}}

Today we are HIP-HOPPING into the end of the week (which is insane because the last time I checked it was Halloween?!) with UNITY STAMP COMPANY and a brand new line of SUPER cute new storybook-style stamps, "Brandy and Emma!"

You may have seen this adorable new line debut late last month- and people are falling in love with them..FAST!  I mean, really, how can't you?  Phyllis Harris is the designer, and she is a wonderful artist who designs for Highlights magazine.  I personally adore this tidbit of info because I always had a subscription to Highlights growing up.  My dad would often come in and read it with me before bed when I was a kid and I really love it to this day!

My kids now have a subscription from my aunt and it's still so much the same as I remember from when I was a kid.  I love that!

Please help WELCOME this adorable NEW line with a card today I whipped up:

So, can you even BELIEVE it's NOVEMBER yet?  Have you seen the total CUTENESS that is the November Kit of the Month?  Check this out:

Is that sentiment calling your name?  HA!  Love it!  and have you been talkin' some SMAK?  I am IN. LOVE. with the new MONTHLY Mixed Media/Scrapbooking kit...or shall we say, "Scrapbooking Mixed Media Art Kit"!  Check it out:

There are TONS of happenings, special deals, and what not over at UNITY today so be sure to check out the BLOG and find out what Ang has going on!   You won't be sorry you did because the deals keep getting better and better and they go FAST!

Talk to you all soon- HIP HOP!

Taylored Expressions September Key Ingredients Blog Hop...

{{{PLEASE SCROLL DOWN for my SPARKLE CREATIONS guest spot today- THANKS!}}}

Hey, everyone!

I know I shouldn't be surprised right now at how QUICKLY this month has flown by, but OH MY GOODNESS it's the 20th!

You know what that means?  It's time for the Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients BLOG HOP with the KI team!   First of all, a HUGE congrats to Taylor Van Bruggen, her husband Jon, and the whole family on the birth of the beautiful Madelyn Grace!  She is a GORGEOUS baby and I'm so happy for my friend and new Mommy, Taylor!  She is SO cute!

Have you guys had a chance to check out all the new releases and September Key Ingredients kit over in the TE store?  If not, definitely head over and see all the CUTE new releases this month!

I was excited to pull out my "Make a Wish" set and create this card for today's hop.  The inside is actually a money and/or gift card holder!   My kids' classmates are famous for dropping the last minute bday invite into someone's backpack, so I always like to have cards on hand for this type of event.  This months' KIT is PERFECT to make cards that could easily suit a girl OR a boy...check it out:

Here's a close up of the buttery smooth "Buttercup" liquid pearls as the 'frosting' for my cake- I think this is my favorite color of liquid pearls, yet!

Have you SEEN the amazing projects on the Key Ingredients Blog this month by our KI team?  If not, be sure to check it out, along with my own S'mores kit!  Here's a little sneak peek of that post:

Well, ENJOY this months' projects and I would definitely recommend signing up for the Key Ingredients subscription if you don't already have one!  Here are just a FEW of the perks:

First and foremost- the kits themselves are amazingly put together and everything matches- all the guesswork is taken out for you!  You can create TONS of projects and have leftovers every month- trust me!

º Store Discount. Subscribers will be given a special discount code to save 10% on any order placed between the 10th - 13th of the month to be combined with your subscription shipment. Subscribers in the US may combine your additional items with your KI Subscription shipment for no additional shipping fee. Subscribers outside the US will pay additional shipping costs to combine your additional items with your KI Subscription shipment.You'll receive a reminder e-mail on the 10th of each month which will also include a list of other products that will coordinate with the kit being shipped to you that month. This list is incredibly helpful for those who want to stretch the use of a KI with even more supplies!

º Design Team Inspiration. We'll debut the Key Ingredients kit on the 10th of each month followed by 5 days of inspiring projects posted by the Key Ingredients team right here on the Key Ingredients Blog. Of course, don't forget to check out the gallery where the design team is constantly adding new projects!

New Monthly RIBBON KITS at RibbonCarousel.com!...

Hey everyone!

Today is Tuesday and of course, time for another SUPER fun RCC challenge...but first, we have some NEWS!

Ribbon Kits are now being offered monthly at Ribbon Carousel.Com and I am excited to show you our first kit, for September:
This awesome sampling is taken from these collections of ribbon:

Here is the information for the Ribbon Club Kits.  I've also attached pics and the links on the store website for y'all.  September's kit includes 10 different ribbons and twine for a total of 20 yards!  The best part is that they're a great sampling size for special occasions, won't' take up a ton of space, and allow you to collect all different shapes and sizes of ribbon.

Each kit will include 15 to 20 yards of ribbon and twine.  For the 3 and 6 months of kits, shipping is only paid once!  That's a great deal!

Be sure to check out the new kits-and now...let's get to our challenge this week, RCC19 with our new "Stowaway" aka Guest Designer, Danielle Daws!

This week's challenge is an "Anything Goes" challenge, so you guys have it easy, LOL!  Just teasing, I do too, thanks Danielle! :D

I used some hemp twine for today's project, featuring the new "Bantastic" stamp set from The Greeting Farm:

Just use Ribbon, twine, or Jute somewhere on your card or project and link up to the RCC Blog this week and check out all the details for this week's challenge HERE.

See you all soon!

Holy Guacamole!...

...I am the September (and very first!) Guest Designer for AVOCADO ARTS!

{{{please scroll down for my Bellariffic Friday post- thanks!}}}

I am very pleased to be amongst a very lovely and talented group of women, both on the Design Team and the ladies who work hard behind the scenes, too, to bring you guys monthly clear stamp kits that are of EXCELLENT quality and a really great price, too!

Check out their September kit, "Thankful For You":

Each month, Avocado Arts releases a new 4x6 kit of clear stamps.  There are NO membership fees, and you can cancel or skip a month as long as you do it by the 23rd of the month before (you'll have plenty of time to decide if yo want the next month's kit or not by then :)

I adore the Fall images in this kit and how they're so versatile and work w/ one another so well.  I had a blast creating my first two projects for you today:

These little pumpkins are SOOO sweet and awesome to color or paper piece, perhaps?  I love the sentiments too- they are the PERFECT size and such a great array of them in the kits.
...and how cute is this itsy-bitsy spider?  I've never met a spider I liked until her, actually...complete w/ her adorable eyelashes :)  I had a BLAST taking the spider web from the kit and incorporating it into this old SU paper.  I added some Stickles and my kids are all fighting over who gets this card, LOL!  Guess I'd better get back to work!

Be sure to check out the Avocado Arts BLOG for more on my September guest spot as I'll be back with more in a few days, yay!  What's more?  I hope you'll check out the rest of the Pit Crew's blogs and check out the recent days' posts with even more inspiring projects!  These ladies are so talented:

Didn't I say I was in GOOD company?   Last but not least, be sure to "like" them on Facebook, and join me in their cause to support Childhood Cancer awareness this month with another beautiful set "Give Good".  I just got this set and it's even more meaningful that I can say- and it's even prettier in person!

Thank you SO much for coming out today to support me and I really hope you'll go check out Avocado Arts if you're new to them!   You will love them!
