TREAT-ing you to a fun, new HIP HOP...

...with a new themed format and a mini-tutorial!

Hip Hop everyone!

I'm so excited about our first themed HIP HOP today with UNITY Stamp Co!   Today we are kicking of a 'new and improved' Hip Hop of sorts ;)...we have THEMES galore planned for you over the next several months and I'm SO psyched!

Today we kick this all off with a "Halloween Treat Theme".   You can create Halloween treat holders, treat ideas, ANYTHING treat-related for the upcoming SPOOKTACULAR holiday ;)  I chose to create a little treat purse for my little one to bring to preschool w/ her and am filling it w/ lollipops inside for her to bring to her classmates.  She is in a small class of 9 kids so this was perfect for her :)

I started out with a cute little wooden purse that my friend Kelly sent me.  You can get these at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, etc. for maybe $3 or $4 :)

Scor-Tape is going to be your best friend for this project.  I just traced along the base of the purse with a hobby knife and cut cardstock to match the shape of the purse:
I also added some Scor-Tape to the sides to prepare for decorating with the super adorable "Matilda" DP from Cosmo Cricket:

I then took some more Cosmo Cricket Matilda DP and created a border/trim for the purse.   Webster's Pages Bloomers were the PERFECT addition to make this sweet and girly, just like my little Ava:

Then I took the pumpkin stamp and the "Happy Halloween" sentiment from the September Kit of the Month and created two tags, attached w/ some fun crinkle ribbon.  I paper-pieced the pumpkins on one tag, stamping the "Happy Halloween" on the other tag:

Think she likes the finished product?   I'm thinkin' maybe ;)

Be sure to join us today on our SCS Forum beginning at 10am CST for HIP HOP and don't forget to start Hip Hop on the UNITY Blog to see what Ang has in store...there is a LOT of excitement going on at Unity surrounding our website, deals, new Hip Hop themes, and the GREAT people that make Hip Hop so much fun...YOU guys!  There will be prizes, as always for our weekly Hip Hop challenges and we cannot WAIT to see what you create based on our fun new themes!  See you all soon...

...now it's time to head on over to Jimmi's blog next!  See you all soon!  xoxo

Great blog as for me. It would be great to read more about this topic. The only thing I would like to see on that blog is a few photos of some gadgets.
